Graduation & Certification Requirements
- Mandatory attendance & class participation at all scheduled teacher training sessions. Please note that the short-term and long-term Prague Yoga Teacher Trainings may be combined if you are unable to make all of the dates in one course. The syllabus hours are the same for all courses.
- Presentation of meditation, pranayama & asana class practica in English.
- Completion of large Yoga-related paper, quizzes, mid-term exam & final exam in English.
- 5 consecutive months of 30-minutes asana practice & 20-minutes pranayama/meditation practice, 5-6 days per week. ALL students should begin their daily practice 1-month prior to the beginning of the course. After this time, practice will take place BETWEEN course weekends for long-term students and AFTER the course intensive for short-term students.
- Attendance & Evaluation of ten (10) Yoga classes at the studio of your choice. Approved workshops may be substituted for x hours. Attendance of evaluated classes must occur during or after the training - not prior to.
- Brief check-in emails regarding student revelations, challenges or questions - one (1) per month. This is only a minimum requirement as students are encouraged to email me at any time.
- Overall assessment by course instructor of the student's ability to teach Yoga in a safe and compassionate manner based on grades and observations both off and on the mat. In rare cases and at the instructor's discretion, additional work may be required in order to demonstrate that all of the above requirements have been met.
